The Porthaven Manor is an elegant retirement community designed exclusively for those who are 55 years old and better. Residents live in grand style in lovely one or two bedroom apartment homes. Porthaven Manor is one of seven Haven Manor retirement communities located throughout Michigan. Porthaven Manor has been serving Michigan seniors for more than 16 years and have the experience, knowledge and skills to provide our residents with the lifestyle that they deserve.

“Our success is based on our philosophy that our residents come first. We understand seniors are unique, each have different interests, needs and desires. We are committed to catering to those needs” stated Janis Owen, Community Manager of Porthaven Manor. “That is why here at the Manor we have a full array of services and amenties to choose from. We do not charge an all inclusive fee. Our residents only pay for what they need. We offer many choices.” Among the choices that the residents have are daily meals, Handyperson service, housekeeping and medical services.

Porthaven Manor has a full time Activities Coordinator for events and activities such as trips, health demonstrations, bingo, exercise groups, dance groups, movies, cards, games, puzzles, lectures and shopping. The Porthaven Manor bus makes weekly trips to local Supermarkets, Shopping Malls and the banks. The bus is also for excursions such as plays and trips to the casino and other attractions. A monthly newsletter is prepared for residents which includes all of the activities for the month.
