The City of Port Huron and the Blue Water Area Chamber of Commerce are conducting the first "For Better Business" survey to help identify areas for municipal and small business improvements and private sector development opportunities. Approximately 1,824 businesses in the 48060 zip code will receive the opportunity to provide feedback.

The City Council has asked the Chamber to report on the status of business in Port Huron, and with your help, we will be able to deliver a clear, concise report. The data collected from the surveys will give us direction in the development of a new small business development grant program funded by the City of Port Huron and distributed through the Chamber of Commerce.

Businesses may complete the survey and return to the Chamber by August 31, 2009. The survey can also be completed quickly and easily online at www.bluewaterchamber.com/survey.

Responses will remain strictly confidential. A compilation report of the feedback gathered will be provided to the City Council in September. The City Council and Chamber of Commerce thank you in advance for your participation and for helping us make Port Huron a better place to do business.
